Wilson sees in his music a form of expression that may or may not bring about transformation in the listener,  as he says “This work consists of my vision of the world of sounds, a coming apart of the tonal world, a dispersion of the tonal language. It is not my intention to avoid tonality; this is all a part of the evolution or involution of my way of seeing, hearing, thinking and expressing myself through music."

"This language awakens in me a feeling of immense freedom; I try to make music how I feel it (at least I believe it to be music: what I feel or try to transform what I feel into sounds). Without loosing the lyrical aspects (if we stop to look at the treaded path regarding musical language, we will clearly notice a tremendous impoverishment, musicians who are completely stuck to the tonal system, trying to free themselves at all costs and because of this create the most absurd theories about the art of putting sounds together.)”
